Some classic shares you may have missed

A beautiful album from Martin Denny protege Ethel Azama. Ethel.

Another great album cover. Not a bad album of polynesian music either.

They certainly knew how to get your attention in the 70s. Bare view

What an album! What a cover!

Oh yes heres the music.

Wow! 8)

There goes MY weekend! What a motherload to drop into the fileshares! Other worlds and more other worlds; thanks so much.

Some band members and I were driving home from rehearsal the other night and listening to some Equivel and Denny and I said, "Just imagine, RCA calls up and says they want you and all your friends in the studio monday to put together another album and you say, 'Can I bring an X, Y and Z player?' and RCA says 'Sure! Bring 'em on' and six weeks later you're back in the studio doing it again."

A sigh ran through the van. Yeah, those were the days.

I wonder where that Hawaiian girl is today ...

actually, and more pertinently, does anyone know if any of these arrangements were ever published anywhere? It would seem that today's lounge/band market would have a large demand for these sorts of lush exotica arrangements (if the price was right) but I don't see any on the catalogs. Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong places?
