The Exotic Sandy Warner

Scooter Pietsch wrote to me about a track off his last album entitled The Exotic Sandy Warner you can download the track here. Its a great exotica track with bird calls and exotic percussion played with flair by musicians who know what they're doing. He also sent me a copy of his CD above and the whole album lives up to the standard set by the Sandy track with excellent musicianship and that retro feel so that if you want you can imagine its an album released in the late 50s by some hot musos. Of course the technical aspect of the recording is up to date so its the best of both worlds.

The whole album is available to listen to here and if you want to hold the small slab of plastic in your hand its available at CDBaby for the princely sum of $1 yes that is not a misprint.

I think the not so sad Salamanders are going to release another album shortly so if you contact CDBaby they can take your email address so Scooter can contact you with full details (and I'm sure with no spam included).

Here's a great video clip for more goodness:

Here's something that was requested and I was so surprised I actually had it that I uploaded it. Thanks to whoever put this together. It was apparently no longer available until now that is.

I had a request for Tropical Fantasy that weirdest of all exotica records and as I felt generous I've included Flirt and Fantasy as well.

This was requested and much to my surprise I had it in the archives so here it is. Don't know much about it or where it came from but I think it was their only release. Album cover by Dean Torrance of Jan and Dean fame.
